Hi there! My name is Austin and I'm a pianist turned scientist turned fullstack/software developer! My interest in software started in elementary when I made a flash game about a scribble trying to escape the clutches of evil erasers. While I have no clue what I was thinking when I came up with the idea, it was that moment that got me into programming!
Skipping to today, I am a fresh grad from the University of Waterloo where I studied Nanotechnology Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science. Through my internships, I've had the fortune of doing a bunch of things, from electrocuting algae, building a lazer for a quantum computer, to developing a video-chat service at a startup! My assortment of experiences might seem a bit weird, but they've broadened my perspectives greatly, and they all share the fact that I needed to code something at somepoint 😆!
